The SAL national commander’s slogan is ‘Representing More Than Me.’ He wants the Legion Family to live that slogan.
SAL National Commander Donald “JR” Hall’s slogan this year is “Representing More Than Me.”
It’s a message he wants the entire Legion Family to take to heart.
In a new video, Hall discusses why he chose that slogan: his grandfather, Ed Hall, an Army veteran of World War II.
“This year, as I travel, I’m introducing everyone to my grandfather. He is why I do what I do,” Hall said.
“I ask that the entire American Legion Family join me in honoring your family’s service.”
Hall is encouraging Legion Family members to share photos and short stories about the veterans they support at Legiontown.
“Make sure your membership is worth the commitment they made to serve our country,” Hall added.
