Warren J. Goldstein joined The American Legion in January of 2011. Currently, Warren serves as Assistant Director for TBI and PTSD Programs.  Prior to being the Assistant Director for TBI and PTSD Programs Warren served as Senior National Field Service Representative in the Health Policy Unit for the National Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Division..

As a Senior Field Service representative, Warren conducted site visits to the various Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical facilities in conjunction with the American Legion’s “A System Worth Saving” Program. Warren’s responsibilities for the American Legion included issue and subject matter analysis for the VA National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) offices for Quality, Safety, and Value, Advisory Committee on Structural Safety of VA Facilities, and Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans.

Warren served eight years in the United States Army both on Active Duty and in the Army National Guard. His military occupation was as a Combat Medic. He served 3 years in Wackernheim, Germany with the 5th battalion 3rd Air Defense Artillery Unit. Warren was also in charge of the Mills Medical Treatment Facility at Ft. Dix, NJ  where he was responsible for processing service member’s physicals who were being deployed overseas.

During his military tour, Warren was a recipient of the Expert Field Medical Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medals and Army Good Conduct Medals.
Warren obtained a B.A. degree in International Politics from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Currently, Warren resides in Maryland with his wife and twin boys and is a member of the American Legion George Washington Post 1 in Washington, DC.
