100 Miles for Hope: How to send donations via check

Donations to the third annual American Legion 100 Miles for Hope to go assisting disabled veterans and military families facing financial hurdles. The easiest way for donations to be processed is to use this web page

However, we understand that some members would prefer to send in a check. National Headquarters staff has created an alternative for those wishing to contribute donations this way. In order for these donations to be credited to the individual fundraiser, the participant’s department and/or the Riders challenge, be sure to clearly indicate the donation is part of the 100 Miles for Hope campaign.

If you choose to mail in a check, please be advised that when it comes to the monthly incentives, those funds will be counted in the month in which they are received at National Headquarters.

Checks should be made payable to “American Legion Charities, Note: 100 Miles for Hope.”
