Your 104th national convention guide

The American Legion is hosting its 104th National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 25-31. Attendees will participate in commission meetings, workshops, training sessions and Legion Family activities, as well as hear from distinguished guests, see award presentations and elect a new national commander on the convention floor.

Exhibit Hall

• Visit USAA at Booth No. 401 and bring your favorite Challenge Coin. The USAA staff will take a photo of it, and you can share its details with them. They will then display your story on their Wall of Honor. If you don’t have a coin with you, please still stop by and share your story for display on the wall – they won’t even make you pay for the next round! USAA thanks you for your service and looks forward to meeting you!

• Find Child Welfare Foundation piggy banks and other branded merchandise at the CWF Booth No. 104/106.

• Stop by the 1919 Giving Society booth to chat with a member of the Office of Charitable Giving team and learn more about how you or your organization can make life-changing difference in the lives of veterans and children of veterans and military personnel. 

• Donate blood during the Red Cross Blood Drive – Friday, Aug. 25 and Monday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2023 national convention app

The American Legion’s National Convention mobile app is also available for download, free of charge, from the Apple Store or Google Play. The app includes maps, information for meeting times, the floor agenda, a guide to Charlotte and more. The app will continue to be updated with information, news headlines and alerts throughout the convention.
