Main, JROTC competitions to be separated by break.
The National Color Guard Contest will be held Friday, Aug. 28, in Hall D, Upper Concourse of the Kentucky International Convention Center,. The five classes are Advancing/Retiring of Colors, Military, Military-Open, Open and JROTC Drill. Applications are due by June 26. The main Color Guard competition will run from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., and the JROTC competition from 2:30-5 p.m. In 2025, 24 JROTC units from multiple states competed.
