Posts can add information from its annual Consolidated Post Report to the impact report to share with new and potential members.

The American Legion has created an impact report template for American Legion Family members at the post, district and department levels. This is much like the national Membership Impact Report that national headquarters compiles and publishes monthly. (View these reports here.)

American Legion members can now customize and show how their post or department is making a difference in the lives of veterans, their families, youth and the community. For example, posts can download the template and other materials, take information from their annual Consolidated Post Reports and create their own report.

Follow these steps to access and use the post impact template:

1. Download the Post Impact Report Template

2. Review the step-by-step guide to using it.

3. Print and hand out during membership events and have copies on hand at the post. You can also email it to members and share it on social media.
