Flag Day is Sunday, June 14, and as America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, The American Legion has resources to help you instill pride and respect for Old Glory.

Social media graphics. There are three sets of U.S. flag social media graphics that can be downloaded and shared on Facebook, X and Instagram. These include:

“Rise of Our Flag” graphic novel is perfect for junior high school readers and older that illustrates the journey of America’s symbol from its origins in War of 1812 to the 21st century, where it has remained a beacon of hope following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Sold through Emblem Sales, individual copies are $4.99 or $200 for a box of 50.

“Our Country’s Flag” comic book is an educational tool that Legion Family members can give to elementary students to help them understand the importance of our flag, how to show respect for the flag, and how to protect our country’s freedom. Purchase the comic book through Emblem Sales here.

“Indivisible: The Story of Our Flag” is a 112-page bookazine that tells the story of the U.S. flag from the American Revolution to the Global War on Terrorism through colorful photos, illustrations, poems, fun facts and more. It is sold through Emblem Sales for $9.99.
