The American Legion has released its new flag web platform in time for Flag Day on June 14. The user-friendly page has everything you need to teach flag education, etiquette and respect, to purchase flags, and to have all your flag questions answered.
The new American Legion flag web page now features a table of contents on:
- How to properly display the U.S. flag
- How to respect the U.S. flag
- Flag etiquette and conduct
- Resources
These resources includes three sets of social media graphics that feature tidbits of U.S. flag history, fun facts and #knowthecode; publications such as youth comic books and a graphic novel; answers to flag myths and frequently asked questions; and guidance on how to fold the flag.)
Snippets from the U.S. Flag Code are featured throughout the web page along with a link to the document in its entirety. And as the nation’s No. 1 supplier of U.S.-made American flag and flag accessories, a direct link to American Legion Emblem Sales is available to make flag purchases.
Visit The American Legion’s flag web page to promote flag education, respect and honor.
