Employment, youth support, veterans assistance, BASE visit, Flag Code inquiries and more.
The American Legion was hard at work in April – Children & Youth Month – fulfilling its mission across its four main pillars of service. The month included a successful veteran job fair, Child Well-being Foundation grant distributions, a site visit to Naval Station Great Lakes, U.S. Flag Code questions answered and one National Emergency Fund grant.
Across a spectrum that included a cemetery cleanup in Delaware and a System Worth Saving site visit in Oregon, the Legion made impact on many fronts as American Legion Baseball teams prepared for the coming season and 53 students qualified for the National American Legion Oratorical Contest.
