World War I and II Dead Plaque

The memorial is a rectangular bronze street sign with the identical inscription on both sides. Above the inscription is the logo for the American War Mothers. The plaque is framed by two steel poles and a steel scroll top piece with the shape of a vase above the plaque. The memorial plaque stands at the sidewalk directly in front of the Gaston County War Memorial Hall at 109 W. 2nd Ave, Gastonia, North Carolina. The Memorial Hall was dedicated in 1930 to honor veterans of all wars.
