Perry, Oklahoma - Grace Hill Cemetery Veterans Circle

Perry, Oklahoma - Grace Hill Cemetery Veterans Circle

The memorial sits atop a hill in a section of the cemetery that is a primary burial site for veterans. The centerpiece of the memorial is a lighted flagpole with a white reviewing stand at its base, among decorative plantings. In close proximity, to the west, is a raised, polished gray granite monument on a stair-stepped base, dedicated to unknown veterans, and inscribed: IN MEMORY OF OUR HONORED DEAD, WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY, WHOSE BURIAL PLACE IS KNOWN ONLY TO GOD. These features are encircled by a walkway lined with individual headstones and bronze military markers of veterans representing different war periods. Surrounding the Veterans Circle are the individual markers of military veterans.
