372nd U.S. Infantry Memorial

A plain shaft of granite, about 9 miles from Monthois (Ardennes), France. The bronze plaque reads, "In Memory of the Members of the 372nd U.S. Infantry, Killed in Action September 26, 1918, to October 7, 1918." Maintained today by the American Battle Monuments Commission, Washington, D.C. Restored in the 1980s.
