Shrewsbury WWI Memorial

Shrewsbury WWI Memorial

The Shrewsbury WWI Memorial was dedicated on November 11, 2013 after a more than six year funding campaign to replace the original WWI Memorial built in 1928 which had deteriorated beyond further repair. There are eight stone columns, one for each of the eight men who died in WWI to the left of the flag pole and a plaque listing the names of the one hundred fifteen men and two women of Shrewsbury who served in the war.
