Local Union 2180 United Mine Workers Association Dunglen, OH 1941-1945

Dated at least to 1950. Original creator unknown. Lists names of Dillonvale soldiers who worked in the mine, joined the military and were killed in action in WWII. It was moved from American Legion McCook Post #529's home to Night Rider's Park, Dillonvale, OH; a more prominent location for town, on 23 May 2016. It is next to a larger monument listed on another page. Randall Gallagher Memorials is a family owned/operated business who cleaned and moved it pro bono. Randy Borkoski, et al planned and layed the foundations and sidewalks for this project. Some relatives still live in this area. The soldiers listed were: Delio Brandi, Aldo Persiani, William Serovik, Adam Sihlnik, Steve Vargo and Joseph Swabado Jr.
