Herminie No. 2 Honor Roll
The original monument lists those from the coal mining village of Herminie No. 2 who served in World War I and World War II. There is a later addition that lists others who served. It is obviously newer but does not specify when those listed served and in which conflict they served. There are also two women listed among the WW II veterans. 304 Wendel Road Irwin , PA 15642 This memorial was originally on the grounds of now-closed Herminie No. 2 school. The former five room elementary school is now Fasset Manufacturing, a precision machine shop. Herminie No.2 is an unincorporated village in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
