A cluster of monuments in front of the Old Stone Fort in Schoharie, New York. WWI monument has the name of Sgt. Fred L Stilson on it. American Legion Post 57 in Cobleskill, New York was named after Sgt. Fred L. Stilson. Post 57 was chartered in 1919. Sgt Stilson died at Fort Ontario on November, 1918 in the line of duty.
