Marseilles Memorial Park Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall and the White Oak Memorial Forest

Marseilles Memorial Park honors and remembers Marseilles men and women who died in the Civil War, WW l, WW ll, Korea, and Vietnam. The Middle East Conflicts Wall and Museum honor and remember all Americans killed fighting the War on Terror from 1979 to the present. The Memorial was conceived by Tony Cutrano and Jerry Kuczera. The Wall was dedicated in June of 2004. Each June thousands of Veterans on motorcycles from all over America ride in the Illinois Freedom Run to the Wall to support the families and Honor our Fallen Heroes. The museum displays pictures of our fallen warriors and artifacts left by friends and family. The White Oak Memorial Forest honors all veterans from Illinois who gave their lives fighting the War on Terrorism. It was conceived by Stephen Massey of Ottawa Illinois in 2009. Stephen raised money and materials from area Veterans groups, local business and our Marseilles Local 393. Local 393 provided materials and labor for all three memorials.
