Battle of Beaver Dam Thorold Ontario, Canada

Placed to mark the graves of fallen soldiers of the War of 1812. The grave sites were discovered with the building of the Welland Canal in 1956. The graves were moved to Beaver Dams Park and Lake Shore Post 105 placed the monument. Each year the American Legion meets with the members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 for a memorial service.
