Hydro Veterans Memorial

Hydro Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veteran’s Day Nov 11, 2015 in Hydro, Oklahoma. The memorial is located in the Hydro Masonic Cemetery and is truly beautiful. Hydro has over 260 veterans buried in the cemetery and Pam Klaassen spearheaded a campaign to create a memorial to remember all the local men and women who have served our country. The memorial itself is made of black granite with two black granite benches in front and three black flagpoles in the back where everyday the Oklahoma flag, American flag and POW flag will fly. The black granite monolith says "Hydro Veterans Memorial This memorial is dedicated to the men and women who served in our armed forces. We shall never forget!
