Jordan Company F 21st Infantry Regiment 24th Infantry Division 1928-1951 Citation Private First Class Jordan distinguished himself by conspicuous gallantry and indomitable courage above and beyond the call of duty near Kumsong, Korea November 15, 1951 Medal of Honor authorized by United States Congress was awarded posthumously to PFC Jordan US Army General Order #3 dated January 1953 Military Service 18 January 1851-November 15, 1951 The marker is in Collins, (Covington County) Mississippi. Marker is on Dogwood Avenue south of Main Street (State Route 184), on the right when traveling south. The marker is on the grounds of the Covington County Courthouse. Marker is at or near the postal address of 101 South Dogwood Avenue, Collins, MS 39428. Erected by the citizens of Covington County July 1976.
