First Ward Veterans Memorial

First Ward Veterans Memorial

Originally a World War I honor roll style memorial, it was repurposed in the post Korean War era to additionally honor those from First Ward who served in World War II and Korea. The revision was by Veterans of Foreign Wars Ricketts-Masloff Post 740. The monument is a relic of the long-ago time when the central business district of Pittsburgh had a sizable resident population.
