A life size bronze statue of World War II US Army Chief of Staff General George C. Marshall depicted riding a horse accompanied by his dog. General Marshall was a native of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. This memorial should not be confused with the George C. Marshall Plaza. A much larger and newer memorial located 1/2 mile west on the same street.
