Sallisaw Veteran's Memorial, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Memorial was erected and dedicated outside of the Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library. A beautiful square gray granite memorial stands with four sides with the men and women of Sequoyah County who fought and died in wartime during the first 75year of the 20th Century. Names are listed with the name of the conflict: World War I, World War II, Korea War and Vietnam War. Inscription: “For those who fought for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know. The people of Sequoyah County dedicate this memorial to the men who gave the supreme sacrifice.”
