Clarion County Veterans Memorial Park
The original monument, erected in 1889, is typical of the design of that era: a statue of a soldier placed very high on a pedestal. In the present century, the park had a significant upgrade that was dedicated on May 27, 2019. There are now monuments built to memorialize World War I featuring artillery guns; and black reflective granite monuments for World War II, the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, the Persian Gulf War and the war on terror.
