Sons of The American Legion are now able to renew their membership online.
SAL members can renew on their MyLegion.org account or via the quick renew website: https://legion.org/SAL-Renew. Membership renewals can also still be made in person.
The online renewal process also allows SAL members to set up automatic annual renewal.
Squadrons and detachments can still conduct transmittals to renew members. Dual membership and junior payments are to be processed at the squadron level and will not be available for renewal online.
For squadrons needing to modify their dues in the system, the procedure is the submission of a Squadron Data Report (SDR) that is available at the Sons of The American Legion website under Publications and Forms. The SDR should be sent to the Detachment and the email address Post and Squadron Reports (firstname.lastname@example.org) for processing.
