100 Miles for Hope: How to share your journey

The American Legion encourages all participants to share their 100 Miles for Hope journeys with their family members, friends and others. There are several ways to do this, and all will help build engagement, support for the 100 Miles for Hope campaign, and drive donations to your team and The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation (V&CF).

LEGIONTOWN

One way is to visit the Legiontown platform to keep us updated on your progress and fundraising achievements, from your first steps to the completion of your 100 miles (and beyond). An editor will review the submissions and some may be published in national headquarters media.

GET SOCIAL

Make sure your posts on social media include the hashtag #100MilesForHope. Tag The American Legion and we'll help share your progress!

PERSONALIZED PROMOTIONS

American Legion member Sarah Eisenhardt has created social media graphics for members to share their journeys with their followers on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. To receive one you can use, email a photo you would like to use to al100miles@gmail.com and she will send back your personalized social media graphic to use.

MOBILE CAUSE

Get an extra boost in your fundraising efforts by using the Mobile Cause social media tools to share your goals with your social networks.
