Send this renewal letter to your expired members

MyLegion has updated the reports area for American Legion post and Sons of The American Legion squadron commanders, adjutants and group administrators. Reports are now categorized by Membership and Revitalization.

Newly added to MyLegion is a pre-written renewal letter inviting expired post and squadron members to renew. This customized letter includes member and post/squadron information. 

Create the letter as a report by:

  • using report fields
  • selecting last paid year
  • entering name and title for closing, and generate.  

Please note, if you change Group selection, the contact information does not update automatically. Refresh page (F5) and select a new group to update.

Create mailing labels for the letters using Renewal Labels.  Set the same last paid year filter and create labels.
