Post #155 Hosts successful Blood Drive

By: Jay Conti Sr. American Legion 4th District Public Relations Officer

On Saturday, American Legion Post 155 hosted a very successful blood drive at its post with the cooperation of Life South as their Blood Mobile sat aside of the post parking lot. American Legion Post 155 members and members of the Citrus County Community all chipped in to donate blood as the blood banks have been running at a short supply. Not only members of American Legion Post 155 donated blood, but also many members of the Citrus County community chipped in as Alice Mosley an American Legion Auxiliary Unit 155 member donated blood. Each donor received a free Life South tee-shirt and a free “American Legion Post 155” Koozie. If you or your organization would like to host a blood drive please call Mr. Ray Hill of Life South at 352-527-3061.
