National commander on the air

National Commander Charles E. Schmidt will appear on 17 radio shows across the nation on Monday, Nov. 7, to discuss Veterans Day, the need for the U.S. government to provide a strong veterans health-care system, and other concerns of The American Legion. The total drive-time listening audience will be nearly 20 million.

All listed times are Eastern, and the taped interviews will be broadcast sometime during the week of Veterans Day. Those in the listening area of one of the taped appearances may wish to contact the station or visit its website to find the planned broadcast time if it has been scheduled.

At some point after the broadcasts, most or all of the interviews will be posted on www.legion.org.
