Membership Impact: Funds, facemasks, flag inquiries and a tank request

As Veterans Day and National Family Week/Thanksgiving activities proceeded in a pandemic-changed world during November, The American Legion continued to fulfill its mission through volunteerism, emergency fund distribution and fulfillment of requests through the DoD Military Equipment Loan Program.

Also in November, American Legion Committee on Youth Education Chairman Michael Westergren called on members to step up and help as schools that were making dramatic changes to protect students and teachers from COVID-19.

And, at least one American Legion post placed its request for a tank.
