This year, as every year for many years, the officers and honor guard of Post 79 in North Bend-Snoqualmie, Wash., conducted identical Memorial Day observances at three local cemeteries in Preston, Fall City and North Bend, and at two veterans memorials in Snoqualmie and North Bend. Post Commander Michael Pollina officiated with the Snoqualmie Valley veterans firing three volleys with taps.
