Bateman Gallagher Post 668 in Wayne, Pa., provided both a wreath presenter and an honor guard at the Paoli Battlefield on Dec. 15, 2018.
Our honor guard was made up of individuals from Post 668, the Post 668 Sons squadron and the commander of Post 646.
Presenting the Navy wreath was Jack Casta, finance officer at Post 668.
In total, 53 wreaths are laid that day to honor the men who gave their lives on the battlefield in September 1777. This battle is referred to as the Paoli Massacre.
