On November 10, 2023, our Sam Houston Post 95 Honor Guard (District 7, Department of Texas) posted colors to open the commemorative speech given by Congressman Pete Sessions. This appearance by Congressman Sessions at the 248th United States Marine Corps birthday celebration at the HEARTS Veterans Museum in Huntsville, Texas was much anticipated. What an honor it was to shake his hand and hear him thank our Honor Guard in person for their service to Huntsville and our veterans! Our Honor Guard exemplifies service before self, and we are so blessed to have them in our fold.
