On Friday, February 22, 2013 the American Legion in Newport Beach, CA held a Sock Hop at their post.
It was a highly successful event as nearly 350 pairs of new socks were donated.
Many dressed in 50s attire and all danced the great music.
All socks will be distributed by Legion Service Officer, Jesse Garcia, to veteran’s organizations throughout the county.
