American Legion Riders saved the best for last as they tamed "The Snake," a twisting route through the mountains that includes more than 400 turns. The final leg took the riders from Bristol Motor Speedway to their final stop at the Hendricks Motorsports Headquarters, where they celebrated their completed mission.
As the 2023 American Legion Legacy Run continues, the riders tighten the bonds of camaraderie, enjoy the scenery as the miles roll by, and appreciate the hospitality of posts who host meals and comfort stops along the route.
On the second leg of their journey, Riders on the 2023 American Legion Legacy Run rolled through some of America's heartland – making three stops at Ohio American Legion Posts along the way.
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The American Legion Riders, the 2023 American Legion Legacy Run kicked things off with a trip to where it all began, Otto Miller Post 396 in Garden City, Mich. Riders traveled from Post 6 in Kokomo, Ind., through northeastern Indiana and Northwest Ohio before stopping for the night at Post 396, where they honored a group of American Legion Riders founding members.
