Redskins invite military to their stadium

In recognition of Veterans Day, the Washington Redskins and other sponsors will hold a health screening and education session at FedExField for veterans and active military on Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Redskins, GlaxoSmithKline and other health organizations invite veterans, servicemembers and their families to the Redskins' locker room for the event, which aims to teach them to be proactive about maintaining good health. For the second year in a row, The American Legion will participate.

Attendees will receive discounts on Redskins merchandise, and snacks and refreshments will be provided. Youth on hand will be able to participate in games, and FedExField and the locker room will be accessible for picture opportunities.
