Rajai Davis played American Legion Baseball for Post 9 in New London, Ct. He led the American League with 43 stolen bases in 2016 while a member of the Cleveland Indians.


Jacob deGrom

deGrom, Jacob

Jacob deGrom played American Legion Baseball for Post 3 in Deland, Fla., which won the 2006 state championship and hosted the Southeast Regional the same year. After playing shortstop for most of his ALB career, he switched to pitching as a junior at Stetson University. The National League Rookie of the Year in 2014 for the New York Mets, he is also a two-time NL Cy Young Award winner and three-time All-Star.


Bobby Doerr

A 1986 Baseball Hall of Famer and nine-time All-Star, Bobby Doerr missed the 1945 season serving in the Army during World War II. He played American Legion Baseball in Los Angeles.


Brian Dozier

Brian Dozier played American Legion Baseball for Mississippi Post 49's Tupelo 49ers. Dozier was an All-Star and Gold Glove Award winner with the Minnesota Twins and a World Series champion with the Washington Nationals.


Don Drysdale

A nine-time All-Star, a three-time World Series champion and 1962 NL Cy Young Award winner, Don Drysdale was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. He struck out 2,486 batters and finished with an ERA of 2.95. He played American Legion Baseball in Van Nuys, Calif.
